Austria Salzburg strengthens squad with U19 national team player
19-year-old Thomas Schandl moves from Wolfsberger AC's amateur team to Austria Salzburg.
One day after the signing of Raphael Hofer from NS Mura, Austria Salzburg announces another transfer.
The traditional club has signed Thomas Schandl. The U19 national team player moves from WAC amateurs to Salzburg: "Thomas is another young, ambitious and well-trained player who convinced us in the trial training sessions," says sporting director Roland Kirchler.
Accordingly, the talented midfielder should be carefully introduced to professional football and his potential further developed.
Schandl, who has come through the Lavanttal academy, made 16 appearances for WAC Amateurs in the Regionalliga Mitte last season.
