The second-division club signs a full-back with a Red Bull past.
Austria Salzburg strengthens its defense!
The second-division club signs Raphael Hofer from Slovenian first-division club NS Mura, for whom he made 16 appearances in the 2025/26 season.
The 23-year-old full-back was developed at rival FC Red Bull Salzburg, from whom he was loaned to Linz and Hartberg. There he accumulated playing minutes in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
"We've had Raphi on our radar for a while now. We know him very well and are convinced that he will help us with his athletic and personal qualities, as well as his experience. At this point, I would also like to explicitly praise our team: they welcome the new signings exceptionally well. The team spirit is definitely right – and that is an important factor for our shared success," said Sporting Director Roland Kirchler.
