2. Liga: Traditional Rivalry Kicks Off New Season
Promoted Wacker Innsbruck starts at home, relegated Blau-Weiß Linz in Vienna. The fixtures for the 2026/27 season:
The ADMIRAL 2. Liga kicks off its new season on the weekend of July 31st to August 2nd.
The first matchday immediately brings several exciting duels, including the one between promoted Wacker Innsbruck and Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. The last encounter dates back to the 2004/05 Bundesliga season.
The second promoted team, ASK Voitsberg, faces SKU Amstetten at home, while Bundesliga relegated club FC Blau-Weiß Linz starts with an away match against Young Violets Austria Wien.
Admira faces Rapid II, FAC hosts SKN St. Pölten, and First Vienna FC welcomes Sturm II at Hohe Warte. Austria Salzburg visits Hertha Wels, and Kapfenberger SV battles FC Liefering.
