Admira narrowly wins traditional duel
The Südstädters celebrate against Wacker Innsbruck, as 18-year-old Savic scores the acclaimed winning goal in an entertaining match.
Admira wins the duel between two traditional clubs in the 10th round of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga against Wacker Innsbruck with a score of 1-0.
The hosts created two good chances early on through Justin Forst, but on both occasions, they lacked the finishing touch.
But in the 32nd minute, it happened: Sergej Savic found too much space and perfectly headed the ball after a great cross from the left, with the ball rippling the net.
The Tyroleans played along well, but consistently lacked the final precision, as seen in an attempt by Adrian Lechl just before halftime.

Strong Performance from Innsbruck Keeper Kirchmayr
After the break, Alexander Schmidt had the chance to extend the lead following a mistake in playing out by Innsbruck defender Florian Kopp, but goalkeeper Juri Kirchmayr pulled off a strong save, clearing the ball for a corner.
After almost an hour, Innsbruck had an opportunity to equalize from a free-kick, but both Okan Yilmaz and Phil Kunze narrowly missed the cross.
Immediately after, Benjamin Nyarko failed in a one-on-one on the other end against the in-form Kirchmayr - and that was right after Innsbruck had probably not unfairly demanded a penalty at the opposite end.
Admira Gains Ground in the Table
In the 69th minute, Kirchmayr distinguished himself once again; after Schmidt's shot, he got a decisive touch with his fingertips. Overall, Admira was closer to making it 2-0 in the second half than the Tyroleans were to equalizing, but time and again, there was no getting past the strong Wacker goalkeeper.
In the end, it didn't matter to the Lower Austrians, as the 1-0 victory stood.
In the table, the Südstädters sit in fourth place with 18 points thanks to the victory, while Wacker Innsbruck is seventh with 14 points.
