Everyone knows the league table. The result is clear after the final whistle. What happens behind the scenes, however, often remains invisible: difficult decisions, conflicting interests, and the daily task of uniting people for a common goal.

That's exactly where it gets exciting. Because anyone who bears responsibility in sports must be able to do more than just announce the next success.

How do you lead a team when the pressure rises? How do you stay true to your course without missing new developments? And how do you create an environment where people want to take on responsibility? These are the questions addressed at the "Seeburger Dialoge – Leadership in Sports".

For this purpose, LAOLA1, the Private University Schloss Seeburg, and the International Football Institute (IFI) will bring together three personalities at the Hochschulhub Wien Seestadt on Thursday, November 19, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM. Their common denominator: responsibility in sports. Their perspectives: diverse.

Three Minds with Three Perspectives

Tom Berger, Head of LAOLA1, represents the sports media perspective. In an industry where topics, platforms, and audience expectations are constantly changing, leadership questions arise anew every day. How do you provide guidance while simultaneously allowing room for ideas?

Christoph Peschek, Managing Director of Blau-Weiß Linz, brings the club management perspective. A football club navigates between sporting goals, economic conditions, and the expectations of its environment. Decisions must work in everyday life and at the same time set a direction for the future.

Christina Wieser, President of SKN St. Pölten Frauen, completes the panel with another perspective from club leadership. Women's football offers an exciting framework for questions about development, structures, and shaping change.

Leadership Begins Before the Decision

Three roles, different tasks, and many common questions: How is trust built? How do you deal with setbacks? When is a clear statement needed, and when an open ear?

Especially in sports, long-term plans meet short-term results. Those who lead must keep both in mind.

The appeal of this evening lies in the change of perspective. What occupies someone at the top of a sports media company? What challenges shape everyday life in club management? And where do people from different areas discover similar experiences? The Seeburger Dialoge provide the framework to bring these perspectives together and view leadership from more than one direction.

These questions are also relevant outside of professional sports. Anyone who works in a club, organizes a project, or professionally leads a team knows the task: people have different ideas, resources are limited, and yet something needs to move forward together. A look into the sports business can provide new food for thought.

The Conversation Continues After the Impulses

An exciting thought rarely remains alone. Often, the next good question only arises from it in personal conversation. That's why exchange is also part of the evening: the event offers the opportunity to meet other people from the sports environment, share experiences, and make new contacts.

Whether you already work in the sports business, are involved in a club, or simply want to know what leadership looks like behind the scenes: bring your curiosity. The Seeburger Dialoge combine insights into the topic of leadership with the opportunity to discuss it.
