Will another prominent name feature Red Bull as a head sponsor in the upcoming ski jumping season?

Slovenian athletes will be allowed to determine their own head sponsor starting next winter. Previously, "Gorenje" was visible as a partner of the Slovenian federation.

However, there will still be a general sponsor, which is "Inotherm". The advertising will, however, be visible on the skis.

Marketing Could Bring More Revenue

For the athletes, self-marketing of the valuable space can also mean more income. "I believe we can get more out of it, because that was also the purpose of the change," Anze Lanisek is quoted by "Skispringen.com".

He adds: "You don't go to work every day and you're not on a payroll. Here, you are your own product and you have to promote and maintain yourself."

Prevc on the Verge of Red Bull Deal?

Superstar Domen Prevc could already be on the verge of a major deal. According to several Slovenian media reports, it could be with Red Bull. The Slovenian already has the brand as a partner, but not as a head sponsor.

He himself does not want to comment on this yet at a press conference in Ljubljana: "I am in talks, but as long as nothing is officially signed, I cannot confirm it." However, he finally reveals: "Whoever follows me will know what will be on my helmet."

On November 20, Prevc will start the World Cup season in Lillehammer with his new sponsor. Next weekend, he will participate in the Continental Cup in Stams.
