Bolzano narrowly beats the Caps - Premiere win for Milano
The Vienna Capitals come back twice after falling behind but still come up short. Milano wins on debut in Innsbruck.

The capital club had to admit defeat 2:3 away to HC Bolzano in the first round. They managed to come back from a deficit twice.
It takes a while until the fans in the arena can cheer for the first time: Remolato scores the first goal of the season for HCB. There's a decent scramble in front of the net, Remolato recognizes the chance and can single-handedly push the puck into the goal (30.).
A Brace from Remalato Leaves the Caps Despairing
But the Capitals find the right answer. After a turn, Kosmachuk scores into the top half of the net to equalize at 1:1 (40.). However, the home side takes the lead again in the final period. McClure scores into the short side for a 2:1 lead (44.).
But the Viennese don't let the renewed deficit get them down and equalize again. After a scramble in front of the net, Gregoire scores for 2:2 (52.).
But for Bolzano, in the first home game of the season, all good things come in threes: Shortly before the end, Remolato scores his second goal to make it 3:2, which is the final score (57.).
Milano Wins Premiere Game
In the first ICE game in club history, HC Milano celebrates a 3:1 away victory against the Haie from Innsbruck.
Blake McLaughlin gives the Milanese the lead in the second period (23.). However, the Tyroleans can equalize: Sebastian Benker scores for the Haie to make it 1:1 (45.).
But thanks to two goals from Greg McKegg (45.) and Diego Cuglietta (59.), the league newcomer can ultimately celebrate a successful start.
