Olympic champion, world champion, overall World Cup winner, and Four Hills Tournament winner - Stefan Kraft has won everything there is to win in ski jumping.

Why he is still far from thinking about quitting, he recently revealed in an interview with "Krone". When asked what still drives him, he replied: "The next victory! When I glide 148 meters in training in Bischofshofen, it's an awesome feeling. You don't even need an awards ceremony afterwards. I just want to stand at the very top again."

In addition, his younger colleagues keep him fit. "They are full of energy and so am I," said Kraft, who at 33 years old is now the veteran among the ÖSV eagles.

Kraft: "But it's really over after the 2030 Olympics at the latest"

He has analyzed the past season, and now his gaze is already focused forward again.

"My inrun position is more stable and deeper. I learned a lot from the youngsters there. We took apart the suit cut and tried out new skis. I jumped more than ever this summer," he reflected on his preparation during the interview.

How long will Stefan Kraft continue to chase distances? "As long as I enjoy it, I'll keep going. Lahti is one of my favorite hills, and the next World Championships are there. The fire is still burning strong in me! If I continue to put my heart into it like this, I'd gladly do it for another four years. But it's really over after the 2030 Olympics at the latest," he told "Krone" about his deadline.
