ÖSV speed hopeful set for World Cup comeback
In January, Magdalena Egger suffered a severe knee injury. In December, she could return to the starting gate in the World Cup for the first time.
The women's speed season kicks off on December 11.
Magdalena Egger could also be back in action. The Vorarlberg native is close to a race comeback after suffering an ACL tear in a crash at Zauchensee in January.
"The build-up on skis is going quite well," Egger reported in the "Krone". The 25-year-old plans to travel to Canada with the ÖSV team in mid-November for speed training.
However, Egger intends to make a decision on competing in the first races in Beaver Creek at short notice.
Last season, Egger claimed her first World Cup podium finish in the downhill at St. Moritz in December. A month later, she suffered her severe injury.
