ÖSV skier Lisa Hörhager brought back a different souvenir from her training camp in Argentina instead of a lot of training time – a few screws in her ankle.

Already seven weeks ago, the 25-year-old technical specialist suffered a severe injury during season preparation.

"I've Added a Little Hardware"

Now she's reporting back with pictures from the hospital and of her new "hardware". "There's still a lot to do until I can get back on the snow, but I'm managing," the Zillertal native reported to her fans on social media.

After a torn syndesmosis ligament in December 2025, it is already Hörhager's second ankle injury within a short period.

Second Setback for ÖSV

In addition to Lisa Hörhager, the ÖSV team must also do without Maja Waroschitz in the upcoming season.

The 20-year-old talent from Tyrol tore her cruciate ligament just a few days ago in Chile >>>

The season, which hasn't even started yet, is certainly not off to a good start for Red-White-Red.
