ÖSV coach Venier? "I'd be confident in my knowledge"
In 2025, Stephanie Venier retired as Ski World Champion. Since then, her world has completely changed.
It has now been a year and a half since Stephanie Venier was crowned Ski World Champion in Super-G in Saalbach.
Since then, a lot has happened for the now 32-year-old Tyrolean: retirement, marriage, a baby, and on top of that, she was also named Austria's Sportswoman of the Year.

What Venier Misses
In recent months, however, things have become quieter around Venier, who is thoroughly enjoying life with her small family. She doesn't miss the tough summer training for the upcoming winter.
"The only thing I miss is the feeling of freedom. That is, you can ski down a closed-off slope, no one is in your way and you don't have to consider anyone," Venier explains in an interview with the "Kleine Zeitung".
Venier wants to pass on knowledge to young talent
Could this feeling of a closed-off ski slope perhaps be experienced again in a different role?
However, when asked about a possible future as an ÖSV coach, Venier declines. "Although I'd be confident in my knowledge," she reveals.
Perhaps, however, she could pass on this knowledge to the next generation in the future. "I would prefer to get involved in youth development," says Venier.
