Former ski racer Maria Therese Tviberg has plenty to smile about these days.
About a month ago, the 32-year-old Norwegian announced that she is expecting her first child – now the next highlight follows.
"I think he liked it – can't wait to be with you forever," Tviberg posted via Instagram, also showing a picture with an engagement ring after her boyfriend Sindre Møen Paulseth had proposed.
Retired for two years
Tviberg officially retired from the Alpine Ski World Cup in September 2024.
This followed a year after her biggest career success: At the 2023 Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel/Meribel, she crowned herself World Champion in the parallel event. Additionally, the Norwegian secured Olympic bronze in the team event in 2022, and World Championship silver in the team event in 2023.
