SK Rapid concludes their pre-season unbeaten. They secure a 3-2 victory against Hamburger SV at the Allianz Stadion, before their first competitive match of the season on Thursday in Andorra against Santa Coloma.

The Viennese find success from set pieces: Ercan Kara converts a whipped-in free-kick from Yusuf Demir over the line as early as the third minute.

After that, the Germans, who are only at the beginning of their pre-season, settle into the game. Two Danish goals lead to a temporary turnaround: Poulsen escapes the central defenders and heads in a cross at the five-yard box (16'), eight minutes later, new signing Grønbæk puts them ahead with a curling shot into the far corner (24') - Bolla and Cvetkovic were too hesitant in their challenges.

Two Goals in Quick Succession

Before the break, a quickfire double secures the eventual final score: A Bolla corner to the near post is deflected into the goal off Kara's back (36'), shortly after, Lemke has to clear an errant Auer cross before Demir, but pushes the ball over his own line (37').

In the second half, both teams rotate their squads, and no more goals are scored.
