ÖSV skier retires at 24
In April, she still achieved a strong third place in the slalom at the Austrian Championships, but now Kathrin Stock is drawing a line under her career.
Kathrin Stock competed in the World Cup twice – now the 24-year-old from Salzburg declares her ski career over.
"Thank you, skiing, for my first turns and jumps, new friendships, countless beautiful experiences and moments, instructive times, simply for everything," Stock declared via Instagram.
Recently Third at Austrian Championships
The technical specialist was in decent form recently, having achieved a strong third place in the slalom at the Austrian Championships last April.
Nevertheless, Stock is now drawing a line under her career. "From now on, it's about enjoying the turns," said the 24-year-old.
The Salzburg native can look back on two World Cup starts in slalom during her career. However, in 2024, she did not make it into the second run in either Levi or Gurgl.
