Withdrawal: Janne Grönvall will not be Head Coach of the Pioneers after all
The 52-year-old cannot take up his position with Pioneers Vorarlberg. As a result, the Vorarlberg team must look for a new Head Coach.
Three weeks ago, Janne Grönvall was introduced as the new Head Coach of the Pioneers Vorarlberg.
However, as the team announced on Friday, the 52-year-old will not be able to take up his position due to personal reasons.
"We fully respect his decision and wish him all the best," writes the win2day ICE Hockey League participant in a statement. According to the Pioneers, the search for a new Head Coach has already begun.
Grönvall was supposed to take over the job from his departed compatriot Johannes Nygard for the new season. Most recently, he worked as an Assistant Coach at Vaasan Sport in the Finnish Liiga.
