After Injury Woes: Hacker Banks on "New Weapons"
ÖSV racer Felix Hacker has recently been repeatedly hampered by injuries. With his switch to Rossignol, he now aims to make a fresh start.
ÖSV speed specialist Felix Hacker has been repeatedly hampered by injuries over the past two years.
After an ACL tear in January 2025, the Carinthian was out of action for a long time. In December, however, the 25-year-old was back at the start in the European Cup and secured a World Cup spot in Gröden with a victory.
In training, however, Hacker suffered a meniscus tear and was unable to start. Surprisingly, the Carinthian was back in the starting gate in Wengen just one month later.
"Part of the Rossignol Family"
In the new season, Hacker now wants to attack with a "new weapon." Hacker is leaving Atomic and will compete on Rossignol skis in the future.
"The first days on my new weapons and I'm already on fire. I am happy to be part of the Rossignol family. We're just getting started," Hacker writes on Instagram.
