Dave Ryding will remain part of the ski circus despite his retirement as an active competitor!

As the 39-year-old announced on Instagram, he will become a brand ambassador for Head. He wrote that he is extremely proud of this.

In addition, the former slalom specialist emotionally reflected on his career.

"I started on a dry ski slope with nothing but a dream to one day compete among the very best in the world. Every early morning, every fall, and every small victory helped me to get the best out of myself," he reported.

Head feels like home

Ryding added: "Ski racing has given me everything: the love of the sport, the mountains, a great community, and the relentless drive to get the best out of myself every single day." Head feels like home to him.

"Since joining, I have seen first-hand the passion for excelling in every area and extracting the absolute maximum potential. This obsession with peak performance and quality is exactly what gets me up every morning," the Brit wrote.

Now he is happy to remain involved in the sport and feels privileged to receive this opportunity from Head. He intends to seize it with both hands and full dedication.

"It's the beginning of something special, and I couldn't be more excited to represent a brand that shares my hunger for what's next," Ryding concluded.
