Lilli Tagger is back in action on Tuesday for the first time since her maiden WTA tournament victory in Prague.

Tagger is the favorite in the clash with the 32-year-old Chinese, having already climbed to 46th place in the WTA world rankings. Furthermore, the Lienz native is seeded number one in the qualification.
For the Austrian, this marks her fourth main draw appearance at a WTA 1000 tournament this year. She reached the second round in Indian Wells and Miami, while in Rome, after successfully qualifying, her run ended in the first round.
