Austrian Tennis Federation (ÖTV) rising star Lilli Tagger is aiming for the quarterfinals at the WTA 250 hard court tournament in Prague.
On Thursday (from approx. 12:15 PM in the LIVE ticker), the 18-year-old Tyrolean will face Japan's Mai Hontama in the round of 16.
Tagger is the favorite, as she is already ranked 74th in the world. In comparison, 26-year-old Hontama is only ranked 203rd.
Nevertheless, Tagger should be cautious: Hontama, who fought her way through qualification into the main draw, eliminated seventh-seeded Diane Parry (FRA/WTA-60.) in the previous round.
