Federer Record Broken! Djokovic Reaches Quarter-Finals
The victory over Roman Safiullin is his 106th at Wimbledon - with this, the Serb even surpasses Roger Federer.
Novak Djokovic has broken another record!
The Serb beats Roman Safiullin 7:6 (6), 6:3, 3:6, 6:3 in the Wimbledon round of 16, thereby winning his 106th match overall at this tournament.
With this milestone, "the Djoker" even surpasses his long-time rival Roger Federer - Djokovic had equaled the Swiss's record with his round of 32 victory over Arthur Rinkderknech.
In the quarter-finals, the seven-time Wimbledon champion (only Federer has more, eight) will face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina or Félix Auger-Aliassime.
