Can Jurij Rodionov make the leap into the main draw of the US Open for the first time?

On Thursday, the 27-year-old faces the final hurdle in Briton Jacob Fearnley (ATP-100.) (from approximately 5 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

It would only be the second Grand Slam tournament where the ÖTV ace makes it into the main draw. He has already competed three times at the French Open in Paris. There has not yet been a previous encounter with Fearnley.

Rodionov is the only remaining Austrian in the draw. Both Lukas Neumayer and Joel Schwärzler were eliminated in the second round of qualification, while Sebastian Ofner's journey ended in the first round.
