Erste Bank Open today: Alexander Zverev - Alex de Minaur

In the Erste Bank Open semi-finals, Alexander Zverev will face Australian Alex de Minaur (ATP No. 10) (from approx. 5:30 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

Thanks to his two-set victory against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the German achieved a career milestone. After the tournament in the Wiener Stadthalle, Zverev will be the new world number one in the ATP rankings. He is the 30th player to achieve this in ATP history.

In the quarter-finals, he ruthlessly swept aside shooting star Arthur Fery. Now De Minaur awaits, who prevailed 7:6, 6:2 against Matteo Berrettini.

Zverev won the last encounter between the two in Shanghai, while De Minaur had previously won twice at the Laver Cup.
