Home Win! Miedler/Oberleitner Claim Doubles Title in Vienna

Home win at the Erste Bank Open 2026!

Lucas Miedler and Neil Oberleitner secured the doubles title on Sunday at the ATP 500 hardcourt tournament in Vienna.

The Austrian duo prevailed in the final against the US pairing Ryan Seggerman/Learner Tien with a score of 6:1, 7:5.

The first set, in particular, was a clear affair: two breaks from Miedler/Oberleitner secured a decisive 6:1. In the second set, neither doubles pair initially strayed from the script, before the Austrians managed a break to make it 6:5. Miedler then successfully served out for the tournament win.

Third Vienna Title for Miedler, Premiere for Oberleitner

Miedler can thus celebrate his third Vienna title, having already triumphed alongside Alexander Erler in 2022 and 2024. For Oberleitner, however, it is his first triumph at the Erste Bank Open.

It is also the continuation of an incredible streak. Just two weeks ago, Miedler/Oberleitner secured their first joint title at the ATP 1000 Masters in Shanghai, and last week they reached the final at the ATP 250 in Almaty, which they lost.

Now, in their third final within two weeks, they follow up with their second title.

Oberleitner with New Career-High

This also has an impact on the ATP doubles world ranking. In it, Oberleitner jumps past partner Miedler, achieving a new personal career-high at number 19.

The 30-year-old Miedler occupies 20th place, directly behind the 27-year-old Oberleitner.
