Sebastian Ofner underwent another operation on his left heel last week.

It was the third procedure on the same spot after 2021 and 2024. "Now, physiotherapy and rehab are on the agenda so that I can fully recover, be back at one hundred percent, and return to training strong," the Styrian wrote on Instagram.

The 30-year-old aims to be back on court in "four to six weeks." He is "very optimistic" and "can hardly wait to get started again."

Career End Not an Issue

The former world No. 37 had prematurely ended his tennis season in early September due to heel problems.

Although the continuous health setbacks have left their mark, Ofner admits to the "Kleine Zeitung", but a career end is not an issue.

"Why would it be? I'm convinced I can still have five, six good years on the tour," says the Austrian.

Question Mark Over Misolic

Filip Misolic is also currently injured.

The 25-year-old had returned to the tour at the US Open after a months-long break due to a torn plantar fascia in his right sole.

At the end of September, the Styrian had to retire from the Challenger in Bari. Most recently, Misolic failed in the qualification round at the Challenger in Braga.

His sister and manager, Nina Misolic, told the "Kleine Zeitung": "Something isn't right, but we don't know anything exact yet. Filip is currently training, but will have examinations this week."
