The Austrian tennis duo is fighting for the biggest title of their career so far in the Shanghai doubles final. LIVE updates:
Showdown in Shanghai!
Lucas Miedler and Neil Oberleitner will contest the biggest tennis match of their careers so far on Sunday (from 8:00 AM in the LIVE ticker). The two Austrians are in the doubles final of the ATP 1000 hardcourt tournament in Shanghai.
There, the ÖTV duo will face Francisco Cabral/James Tracy (POR/USA). Thus, Miedler will face his former doubles partner Cabral. Together with the Portuguese, he won four tournaments between 2025 and 2026.
Both Miedler and Oberleitner, who have only been united as a doubles pair for a few weeks, are in a 1000-level tournament final for the first time in their careers. Accordingly, winning would also be the biggest title of their respective careers.
