Novak Djokovic continues his incredible series at the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing!
Even at 39, the Serb remains unconquerable in the Chinese capital. In the final for the title, he benefited from the injury-related retirement of his opponent Alex de Minaur. At that point, however, the 39-year-old was already leading 7:6.
De Minaur struggled with physical problems and had to withdraw from the match with the score at 1:0 in the second set.
Title Number 102
For the "Djoker", it is already his 34th consecutive victory at the Beijing tournament and his seventh title at the event. Overall, he secures his 102nd tournament victory on the ATP Tour.
As a result, the veteran also re-enters the Top 10 of the tennis world rankings.
