Athlete of the Year: These are the Nominees

This year, too, as part of the "LOTTERIEN Sporthilfe-Gala" on October 15 (live on ORF1 from 8:15 PM), the "Niki" will be awarded in a total of twelve categories for athletes and the Team of the Year.

Among the three finalists for Male Athlete of the Year, there's already a first surprise: Double Olympic champion Benjamin Karl is missing. Felix Gall, Alessandro Hämmerle, and Johannes Lamparter are nominated.

Janine Flock, Julia Scheib, and Valentina Höll are up for Female Athlete of the Year. LASK, the ski duo Ariane Rädler/Katharina Huber, and ski jumpers Jan Hörl/Stephan Embacher can be chosen as Team of the Year.

These are all the Nominees - including Voting!

The other categories (Coach of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Athlete with a Heart, Sports Moment of the Year, Special Award) will be determined by other means.
