Crisis? Littler crashes out of Junior World Championship to world number 68
After a first-round exit at the World Grand Prix, the darts star now also suffers a surprising defeat at the Junior World Championship.
Things aren't quite clicking for Luke Littler at the moment.
One week after his first-round exit at the PDC World Grand Prix (1:2 against Luke Woodhouse), the 19-year-old surprisingly crashed out in the semi-finals of the Junior World Championship.
The two-time world champion lost 5:6 to world number 68 Cam Crabtree. Until then, the tournament favourite had won his matches convincingly.
Second Semi-Final Exit at Junior World Championship
Littler was already eliminated in the semi-finals of the Junior World Championship last year. Back then, "The Nuke" was beaten by England's Beau Greaves in a high-class match.
In 2023, in his first of three participations, he won the tournament.
