Andy Williams, also known as "The Butcher", has died at the age of 48 after collapsing during a wrestling match for an independent league. This has been reported by various US media outlets.
Doctors immediately rushed into the ring and performed CPR before Williams was taken to the hospital, where he passed away, according to a NY Post report.
TV Wrestler and Successful Musician
Williams made a name for himself in the wrestling scene primarily under the moniker "The Butcher". Under this alias, he competed for the world's second-largest league, "AEW", from 2019 until June 2026.
In the tag team "The Butcher And The Blade", Williams wrestled against opponents such as the Young Bucks, FTR, and the Lucha Bros.
Before and sometimes even during his TV wrestling career, Williams was a successful musician. Until their dissolution in 2022, he was part of the metalcore band "Every Time I Die".
