After four match days and four wins, FC Barcelona is in first place in La Liga. They have already scored 17 goals and only conceded two.

Everything is currently working in the Catalans' attack. The new captain of the "Blaugrana" plays a crucial role. Raphinha is thriving in his new role – the Brazilian has six goals after four league games.

Only Lionel Messi has had that many goals after four games. The Argentine also scored six times in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.

New Signings Make Immediate Impact

Generally, the start of the season could not have gone better for Barca. New signings Anthony Gordon (5 assists), Karim Adeyemi (1 goal & 1 assist), and Rodri (first starting XI appearance against Valencia) have immediately settled into Hansi Flick's system.

Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus also gathered his first minutes for the reigning champions in the 5-0 victory over Valencia.

In addition, as in recent years, talents from the club's own youth academy are being promoted. Young left-back Xavi Espart (19) has played every game so far and has already provided two assists.

New signing Joao Cancelo is being gradually integrated. The Portuguese did not complete the full pre-season with Al Hilal.

Hansi Flick also sets a record

Attackers Lamine Yamal (19) and Fermín López (23) are delivering a true spectacle for FC Barcelona fans with their style of play. Yamal and López each have four goals, and the 23-year-old has also provided two assists.

Hansi Flick also broke a Johan Cruyff record with the victory against Valencia. The German coach spent 60 of his 80 league games with FC Barcelona in first place in the table.

On Wednesday, the first Champions League match awaits at home against Feyenoord Rotterdam. In the league, they will next face Ndukwes Levante.
