IndyCar Series to Visit Europe in 2027

The American racing series will hold a race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya next year.

Comeback after 20 years! The IndyCar Series returns to Europe next year.

The race will be held on July 18, 2027, in Barcelona, marking the first race in Europe since 2007. This is also possible because Formula 1 will not make a stop at the Catalan circuit next year.

For former Formula 1 drivers Mick Schumacher and Romain Grosjean, it will also be a return to a familiar track. In total, the racing series will hold 17 races next year; besides Spain, Canada is also on the calendar, with a race in Markham near Toronto. The remaining tracks are located in the USA.
