Coach Manfred Schmid is tasked with lifting Wolfsberger AC out of the bottom of the table.

For Thomas Silberberger's successor, the first points are already at stake on Saturday. His former employer, TSV Hartberg, is the opponent (Saturday, 5:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

Schmid speaks of a "special game," also due to his departure from Hartberg: "I had a great farewell in Hartberg and didn't leave on bad terms. I'm looking forward to seeing many familiar faces," Schmid tells "Sky".

"You can tell that some are unsettled"

Against his former club, the 55-year-old doesn't want to risk big experiments: "We'll try one or two things, but certainly won't throw everything overboard," Schmid explains.

The five consecutive defeats have left their mark on WAC.

However, Schmid believes in his personnel: "You can tell that some are unsettled. But I also see that there are some difference-makers," the Viennese confidently emphasizes.

Schopp: "We won't be blinded by the table"

Schmid's counterpart, Markus Schopp, doesn't want to be influenced by Wolfsberger's league position.

"We won't be blinded by the table and know that we have to deliver a really good performance," warns the Hartberg coach.

The Styrians are currently in seventh place and have a six-point lead over the Carinthians.
