Formula 1 today: The Race in Madrid
The brand-new city Grand Prix in Madrid has its first race on Sunday: Lando Norris has the best starting position - but can he win? LIVE updates:
On Sunday (from 3:00 PM in the LIVE ticker), a Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place for the first time on the "Madring" circuit.
The new street circuit in the Spanish capital is the venue for the 14th race of the season.
The world champion will tackle the race from pole position: Lando Norris surprised on Saturday with the fastest lap in Q3.
Right behind him, championship leader Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen will start the race. Qualifying Results >>>
In the championship standings, Antonelli has a very comfortable lead after his victory in Monza. He is now 66 points ahead of his teammate George Russell.
