In this premiere episode of "Zwarakonferenz History", Hannes looks back at one of the most extraordinary success stories in Austrian football: that of FC Wacker Tirol.
From forced relegation as reigning champions, through immediate re-promotion, to the championship title in the 2. Liga. Featuring: Sammy Koejoe, 101 goals in one season, a legendary promotion/relegation play-off match against SV Schwechat, and the incredible journey back to professional football.
However, the story doesn't end with the sporting triumph. In the following years, the club had to overcome numerous setbacks – from relegations and financial problems to a complete restart.
Nevertheless, it remains true to this day: FC Wacker always bounces back. Welcome back to #LigaZwa!
