Fan Protests and VAR Uproar!

Offside decision here, disallowed penalty there.

The second round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga provided plenty of talking points. Decisions by the referees sparked discussions, especially in Vienna and Vorarlberg.

At Austria Wien, a goal was disallowed due to a razor-thin offside. The depiction of the offside line raised questions – and caused a long wait.

In Altach, referee Gishamer initially pointed to the spot after contact between Lukas Hinterseer and Benedikt Zech. However, after a VAR check, he rescinded the penalty – was it the right call?

But discussions aren't only happening on the pitch: Altach fans, as well as supporters of Austria Wien and LASK, are protesting against the kick-off times and the fragmentation of matchdays.
