Dream Start! Lukas Haudum Scores First Goal for TPS Turku
The reigning ICE season MVP promptly gets on the scoresheet during the home win on the opening day.
Forward Lukas Haudum, who left Graz99ers in June as champion and MVP, is enjoying a dream start with TPS Turku in Finland.
The 29-year-old was lined up as the first-line center in the first game of the season against KooKoo and immediately scored his first goal in the second period (34th minute). It was the crucial goal for the temporary 3-2 lead.
In the first period, Haudum's teammates Yliniemi (10./PP) and Bryggman (20./PP) scored. For the visitors, Miettinen (11.) and Makela (14.) were successful.
In the final period, Bryggman added another goal for the 4-2 final score (46th minute). Haudum was involved with an assist and logged 19 minutes, the most ice time of any TPS forward.
