Fehervar hands ICE newcomer Milano another defeat
While the Hungarians return to winning ways, the Italians lose their fourth consecutive game.
Fehervar AV19 prevailed 3-2 against Milano HC in the sole Tuesday game of Round 16 in the win2day ICE Hockey League.
The Hungarians took the lead in the seventh minute with a power-play goal by Farren (7th). McKegg scored the equalizer shorthanded during another Fehervar power play (16th/SH).
In the middle period, Kuralt restored the lead (30th), which Cyr extended to a two-goal advantage in the third period (48th). Chiodo's goal to cut the deficit made for an exciting final phase (53rd), in which Milano was denied the 3-3 equalizer.
The "Devils" returned to winning ways after their 1-3 defeat on Sunday against HC Pustertal, now sitting in eleventh place with 19 points. Milano loses its fourth consecutive game and occupies tenth position with 20 points.
