Cucurella Tattoo After World Cup Title: "I'm Not That Ugly"
The Spanish left-back wants to keep his promise after winning the World Cup and get his coach's face tattooed. Here's how Luis de la Fuente reacts:
Marc Cucurella is keeping his word.
The Spanish left-back had announced before the World Cup final that he would end his national team career if Spain crowned themselves world champions against Argentina.
Cucurella also boasted: "If we win, I'll get a tattoo of Luis de la Fuente's face."
The newly crowned world champion still stands by this even after Spain's 1-0 victory in the final.
"Is there a tattoo artist around here?", the Real player asked after the game in his Instagram story.
De la Fuente Reacts with Humor
"I now have to find out where I can get the tattoo. I'm going to get it done in a prominent spot. On the flight back, I'll think about exactly where," Cucurella explained to Spanish media.
World Cup coach De la Fuente reacted to the unusual announcement with humor: "Promises must be kept - and I'm not that ugly, after all."
