In New Jersey, Brazil and Norway will face off on Sunday (from 10:00 PM CET in the LIVE ticker) in the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Both teams secured their spot in the Round of 16 with a 2-1 victory in the Round of 32. While Norway defeated Ivory Coast, Brazil needed a stoppage-time goal from Gabriel Martinelli to beat Japan 2-1.

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior (Brazil) has four goals in four games, while Manchester City's goal-scoring machine Erling Haaland (Norway) has five goals in three appearances.
Incidentally, the last World Cup encounter between Brazil and Norway at the 1998 World Cup went to the Vikings from Scandinavia (2-1).
