UEFA Slams FIFA's Investor Plans
The world football governing body has crossed a line with its plans to sell tournament stakes to investors.
FIFA is causing a new stir with plans for a billion-dollar deal for the rights to its tournaments.
The world football governing body intends to sell a portion of the commercial rights to its tournaments to investors and generate more than four billion US dollars (3.51 billion euros), it announced.

"None of us owns football"
The European football association UEFA issued a statement on Tuesday after the plans became public.
"This crosses a line that institutions responsible for football should never cross," the European association stated.
UEFA takes the matter very seriously. "The soul and governance of football are not commodities – especially not with complete intransparency about who benefits financially. None of us owns football. It is not FIFA's to sell," the UEFA statement continued.
