The Austrians turn the game around and take an important step towards the second qualifying round.
Austria's U17 women have successfully started their EURO Qualifiers campaign.
Patrick Haidbauer's team prevailed 3-1 against Italy in Norway.
The ÖFB squad fought its way back into the match after conceding the opening goal to Faggioli in just the fifth minute.
Austria Turns the Game Around
Goals from Gussnig (21st minute), Lampl (51st minute), and Weber saw the Austrians turn the game around.
The opening victory was of particular importance, as even third place in the group would be enough to reach the second qualifying round.
However, there is not much time to breathe, as the next group opponents are already waiting. On Saturday, they will face Northern Ireland, followed by a clash with Norway on Tuesday.
