Salzburg gem called up to national team
The 19-year-old has been named in his home country's senior squad for the first time.
Red Bull Salzburg youngster Bartosz Mazurek is celebrating his first national team call-up!
The 19-year-old has been called up by Poland head coach Jan Urban for the Nations League double-header against Romania and Sweden.
Urban explained that they wanted to take a look at several players who are on the verge of making the leap into the national team. Regarding the Salzburg youngster, he said: "Bartosz Mazurek plays in European competitions and is a key player for his team."
Poland currently sit third in Nations League Group B4 with four points. Sweden (ten points) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (eight points) lead the standings, while Romania have yet to pick up a point.
