What had been hinted at in recent days is now official: Ifeanyi Ndukwe is moving to UD Levante!

The Spanish La Liga club announced this on Saturday. The 18-year-old Austrian joins on a one-year loan from FC Liverpool. The Spanish club does not have a purchase option.

Positive Impression - Loan Inevitable

Ndukwe moved from Wiener Austria to Anfield Road in July for three million euros. During pre-season, he had the chance to train with the professionals and left a lasting impression.

Nevertheless, a summer loan was unavoidable. The U17 Vice World Champion did not receive a work visa for the United Kingdom because he had not yet reached the required 15 points for a "Governing Body Endorsement".

Opening Match Lost

At Levante, the talented Austrian will now focus on developing further with game time. The La Liga club finished 18th last year, narrowly avoiding relegation.

Levante lost their opening match of the new season 0-3 against Espanyol Barcelona last Sunday. In their second game, Levante will play away against Osasuna on Monday (from 7:30 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).
