SC Freiburg won their friendly against FC Luzern 4-2.

SC Freiburg took the lead in the 11th minute through a goal from Grifo. A few minutes later, the Swiss side equalized through Lars Villiger (18.).

Later in the first half, the hosts extended their lead to 3-1 with two header goals from Höler (26.) and Ginter (44.).

In the second half, Höler completed his brace (62.). ÖFB forward Adrian Grbic intercepted a pass during Freiburg's build-up play and chipped Freiburg goalkeeper Huth to make it 4-2, which was also the final score (86.).

Mainz Wins Without ÖFB Help

1. FSV Mainz 05 won their friendly against Mannheim 3-0. Without Mwene and Posch, Mainz had to rotate their defense but still remained stable at the back.

Goals from Königsdörffer (25.), Becker (28.), and Hollerbach (55.) secured a clear victory for Mainz.

Glasner's Former Club Suffers Defeat

Today's friendly matchday was less successful for Oliver Glasner's former club. Crystal Palace lost 0-2 against Championship side Bristol City.

The English second-tier club took the lead in the 6th minute through Luke McNally. Scott Twine sealed the 2-0 victory with his goal in the 50th minute.
