On matchday 13 of the Swiss Super League, FC Thun and FC Basel played out a six-goal thriller in an Austrian duel that ultimately ended 3-3.

Basel, featuring ÖFB international Flavius Daniliuc for the full 90 minutes, took an early 2-0 lead through goals from Zan Celar and Philipas Otele. However, Thun managed to draw level before half-time through Brighton Labeau and Nils Reichmuth.

Early in the second half, Zan Celar scored again to restore Basel's lead. Shortly after Furkan Dursun was substituted for Thun, Basel's Kevin Rüegg put the ball into his own net to equalize once more and set the final score.

The share of the points leaves Basel seventh with 15 points. Last season's champions Thun sit one spot behind in eighth place with 14 points.
