Ertlthaler Delivers Important Assist in Krakow Derby
The Austrian plays a decisive role in Wisla's lead.
Promoted club Wisla Krakow's successful run in the Polish Ekstraklasa continues.
The 13-time Polish champions celebrated a 2-0 derby victory against Wieczysta Krakow on matchday six. Julius Ertlthaler also played a decisive role in the win. The Viennese provided the assist for Jordi Sanchez's opening goal (54').
However, Ertlthaler is not the only Austrian celebrating. Darijo Grujcic and Marko Bozic (until the 73rd minute) were two other ÖFB players in Wisla's starting XI. Ervin Omic, however, was not in Wisla's squad, just as Stefan Feiertag was not in Wieczysta's.
Wisla currently sits second in the league table with ten points. Wieczysta, on the other hand, only has three points and is second to last.
