Austrian Player Transfers to Cambodia
After his departure from Bregenz, he moves on to the Cambodian champions.
Johannes Tartarotti has found a new club.
However, the Vorarlberg native will not stay in Austria after his departure from Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. As reported by "Krone", Tartarotti is transferring to Cambodian champions Svay Rieng.
Tartarotti is thus the first Austrian footballer to sign in Cambodia.
"Financially Lucrative and Sportingly Appealing"
In the league, however, the 26-year-old will not feature, as he initially does not have a playing permit there. However, he is allowed to play in the second Asian Champions League, the equivalent of the Europa League.
The midfielder himself says about the transfer: "For me, the move to Cambodia is financially very lucrative and sportingly extremely appealing. There were good discussions with the club officials, initially via video call and since yesterday in Phnom Penh."
