Petar Sučić is only under contract with Inter Milan until summer 2025, but he could reportedly make a move again this season.

According to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United are reportedly intensely pursuing a winter transfer for the 22-year-old Croatian.

In the transfer report published on "Hooligan Soccer," it states that the midfielder has been chosen by coach Oliver Glasner as a desired player for the midfield.

The "Tricky Trees" are reportedly preparing concrete steps to sign the player in the upcoming transfer window. He could become a new teammate for ÖFB legionnaire Xaver Schlager.

Jaissle and Mourinho have Sučić on their scouting list

Competition is reportedly emerging from their own league. According to the report, Matthias Jaissle, who was coach of FC Red Bull Salzburg between 2021 and 2023, is also closely monitoring the player's situation. He is considered a possible option to strengthen Newcastle United's midfield depth.

In addition to the Premier League duo, Real Madrid is also rumored to have a loose interest in Sučić. The 22-year-old Croatian is said to be on the "Los Blancos" scouting list. Those responsible, including coach José Mourinho, are reportedly particularly appreciative of his tactical discipline.

According to Ekrem Konur, Nottingham Forest with coach Oliver Glasner is considered the most promising candidate. Should the Austrian get serious in the pursuit of the 25-cap Croatian international, he would have to dig deep into his pockets. Inter's asking price is reportedly between 60-65 million Euros. Additionally, potential bonus payments and a sell-on clause are said to be non-negotiable.
