Ciro Immobile is ending his career!
His current club Paris FC announced this on Friday evening. The 36-year-old's contract, which was originally set to run for another year, was terminated by mutual consent.
Immobile reportedly wants to dedicate more time to his family in the future. In his 17-year professional career, Immobile was top scorer in Serie A four times, which even led to him winning the Golden Shoe in 2020 (36 goals).
Once Worth 50 Million Euros
In 2021, he became European champion with Italy. He made a total of 57 appearances for the "Squadra Azzurra," scoring 17 goals.
At club level, he had his most successful period between 2016 and 2024 at Lazio Rome, where he at one point reached a market value of 50 million euros. He had less success at Borussia Dortmund (three goals in 24 Bundesliga matches).
