Since the summer, two Austrian internationals, Romano Schmid and Florian Grillitsch, have been under contract with Frosinone Calcio.

With 13 points from the first seven matchdays, the promoted team is in sixth place in the table, marking a historically strong start to the season.

In the past 20 years, only one promoted team has had a better start in Serie A: Juventus Turin collected 14 points after seven rounds in 2007.

Schmid Still Awaiting First Serie A Goal

A reminder: Juventus was not an ordinary promoted team at the time, but was forcibly relegated to Serie B in 2006 due to the Italian match-fixing scandal and returned to the top flight in 2007 as Italian record champions.

Schmid has played seven games so far and provided three assists for Frosinone. Grillitsch is currently suffering from adductor problems and has only made one brief appearance.
